The London Transport brakevan has returned from it's 18 month overhaul at Appleby, where work included replacing the woodwork and a complete repaint..

The vehicle is a part of the URRST collection based at Quainton.

 

The TPO's (Travelling Post Offices) welcomed visitors for the first time over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Visitors experienced what it was like to sort the post manually before today's automated systems were introduced.

The TPO's will be open for our October Steam Gala.
